RATIONALE
This study focuses to the LGBT students
who extremely experience of depression of
bullying and discrimination to their heterosexual peers.
This study aims to implement the other
people to accept and implement their to
gather orientation and program for LGBT students
to avoid them for some harassment.
STATEMENT OF PROBLEM
This study aims to identify the bullying and discrimination experiences
of the LGBT students enrollees in SOGOD NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL of
SOGOD SOUTHERN LEYTE for S.Y 2019-2020.

Specifically, It seeks to answer the following question;

1. What is the student identity?

2. What are the students bullying and discrimination experiences?

3. What is the students academic behavior?


SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
The following are the people determined who will benefit from the study.

Students. To let them live with a freedom and no doubt to express who
they are.
Parents. To make them comfortable by sending their kids to school to
avoid their children for some harassment and bullying.

Teacher. To make them comfortable to their students who identified as


LGBT for some discrimination and bullying.
Future researcher. Will benefits from the results of the study so they can
get some ideas and information about this study.
RESEARCH DESIGN

A descriptive research design is used in this study. This is the


most appropriate design since the study focus on bullying and
discrimination experiences of LGBT students. A descriptive design
can use a wide variety of quantitative and qualitative methods to
investigate one or more variables, unlike in experimental
research design, the researcher does not control or manipulate
any of the variables but only observes and measure them.
(McCombes, 2019).
RESPONDENTS AND LOCALE

They are chosen respondents because the study tries to identify


the bullying and discrimination experience of LGBT students.
There will be 60 students who will serve as respondents and the
main source of data. Thus study will be conducted of SOGOD
NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (SNHS) SOGOD SOUTHERN LEYTE in S.Y
2019-2020. The school is the biggest secondary school in the
division of Southern Leyte if offers senior high school program.
DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE

In conducting this study, a letter of request to conducted the


study will be asked. Once granted, the questionnaire will be
given to the students. The questionnaire will be gathered,
tabulated analyzed and interpreted.
DATA ANALYSIS

The gathered data will be analyze through frequency counts and


percentage. Frequency counts will determine the bullying and
discrimination experiences of while, percentage will determine the

rate of the respond.
