• The students will be group into four,


they are going to give insights of what is
health behaviors, health risks and
physical activity and give example.

• How are you going to describe health


behavior, health risks and physical activity?
• How health behavior and health risk factors
affect physical activity?
• Why is it important to be physically active?
ABSTRACTION

• Health behavior affects health comes


from eating habits, sleeping regularly
and managing stress.
• Health risks factors – family history,
cigarette smoking, HB, diabetes,
obesity, sedentary lifestyle.
• Physical Activity performance is
directly related to eating behaviors,
rest, sleep and relaxation, stress
management and health risks
factors.
• Dance is an expression of the body, following rhythmic
patterns, and is accompanied by music.
• From the primitive man expressing emotions in such events as
birth, death, marriage, war, among other things, dance has
evolved modern forms of social dancing.
• Traditional dance (folk and ethnic)
• Modern and contemporary Dances
• Ballroom (recreational and competitive)
• Cheer dance
• Hip hop/ Street Dance
• Festival Dance
• Traditional Dance
• Are indigenous communities that show cultural traits of
peoples from a specific time and place.
• Customs and traditions are preserved in traditional
dance.
• Handed down form from generation to generation, with
fixed sets or patterns, these dances can either be
ethnic or folk.
• Modern and contemporary dances
• Modern dance is a development that is
less formal than the classical ballet.
• It incorporates the strong legwork and
balance of ballet and the trunk
movements of modern dance.
• Ballroom Dances
• Are comprised of a number of different
dances.
• It includes waltz, polka, tango, foxtrot,
swing, rumba, quickstep, pasa doble,
samba, mambo, cha cha and jive
• Cheer dance
• Is a combination of cheering and dancing.
• Components include the mandatory cheer as well as
a number of gymnastic or acrobatic moves such as
cartwheels and back hand springs.
• The purpose of cheer dance is usually to motivate
sports teams, entertain audiences or for actual
competition.
• Hip hop/ Street dance
• Its roots trace to New York particularly from the
African- American and Latino-American
communities.
• Usually associated with rap music.
• Festival Dance
• Are seen during celebrations or fiestas.
Usually festival dances celebrate good
harvests or good fortune.
APPLICATION

• The students will perform the assign


dance before the final exam.
• Students are given activities to comply.
