CAUSE OF SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER

A research study by Crick and Ladd


(1993) explains that social anxiety is one of
the factors to a group of academic related
group of individuals, the children. The
attitude, actions and the feelings of the
children mentioned, together and with way
they respond about others is related.
EFFECTS OF SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER

• The research by Mansell, Ehlers, Clark and Chen (2002)


reveals how social anxiety, trait anxiety, and the expectation of
social threats affect giving attention to negative and positive
self-evaluative words.
• The research conducted by Culler and Harahan (1980)
explains how anxiety affects the study skills of students.
• The research explains by Ameringen, Mancini and Farvolden
(2001) maintains the negative traits of having anxiety disorder
and the results in social disability and occupational
functioning.
RESEARCH DESIGN
• The researchers used Qualitative Research to
investigate The Effects of Social Anxiety in the
Academic Performance of Grade 12-STEM
students of Lagro High School S.Y 2019-2020

RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS
• Eight or nine students will be randomly
selected in every section with the use of the
questionnaires
RESEARCH INSTRUMENTS
• The Questionnaires to be used were
customized to fit into the students own
perspective and what they thought mostly.

DATA COLLECTIVE PROCEDURE


• The researcher’s participants are selected
Grade 12 STEM students of Lagro High
School through purposive sampling.
