What is an Industry Mentor?

Someone with relevant professional experience (> 4 years)


who is willing to support RMIT students to explore career
options in their field and help them prepare realities of work.

7. Time commitment

• A minimum time commitment of 1 hour every 4 weeks over


12 weeks of the program.
• Meetings can take place at any time with the mutual
agreement of both parties.
• Discussions typically take place every 2-4 weeks. Some
mentors and mentees agree to connect more frequently.

8. Successful partnerships
1. Mentoring goals recorded (compulsory)

2. At least 3 meetings recorded (compulsory)

3. Mid-partnership and end-of-partnership surveys submitted


(compulsory)

4. Mentoring discussion notes recorded in Journals tab (Bonus)
