PROGRAM GAINS
• Highlighting the public-private partnership not only in
disaster-related concerns but in the broader spectrum
of resilience, including business continuity planning
• A multisectoral council to assess and review the
resilience status of the city in general, focusing on the
local economy, human development, infrastructure,
and environmental aspects in particular.
• A proactive collaboration between the academe, policy
makers, and other stakeholders for informed and
science-based governance.
• Training ground for leaders committed to community
resilience.
SOME RESILIENCE COUNCIL
ACTIVITIES
CDRA WORKSHOP. The National Resilience Council (NRC)
in partnership with Manila Observatory and Ateneo de
Manila University
conducts a training on Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment
(CDRA),
with Naga City Resilience Council (NCRC) given four slots.
Mr. Ernesto Elcamel and Joy San Carlos of CDRRMO, Ms.
Nessy Sales of CPDO, and Eng. Aex Caning of the City ENRO
attended the training held October 8-12 at the Ateneo de
