2. Spam-unwanted email mostly
from bots or advertisers. It can be
used to send malware.

3. Phishing-its goal is to acquire

sensitive personal personal
information like passwords and
credit card details.
Online Safety-minimizing the user's
personal and private information
:enables the user to avoid
committing computer crimes.

Security-rules and measures used

against attacks over the internet.
Ethics-a person's behavior when
interacting with other person
online.

Etiquette-rules when
communicating and working
through the internet.
What should you do to observe
proper behavior when using
internet:
1. Think before you click
2. Do not waste time of others
3. Do not send threatening or hurtful
messages
4. Respect the right to privacy

Avatar-an icon that represents a
computer user: it can be a cartoon
graphic, a photograph, screen name.
Blog-a type of website updated by
bloggers who provide news or
opinions about subject matters.

Flaming-act of saying mean things

online, usually in all caps with the
intention to humiliate.
Phishing-illegal act of sending e-
mails or messages that come from
spammers and personal info,
passwords, account numbers can be
taken from innocent people.
Podcasts-downloadable video or
audio file based on certain topics
and updated regularly. Short
messages service (sms) a.k.a. test
message, a short message of fewer
than 160 characters sent from a
cellphone.
Multimedia Messaging Service
(MMS)-a text message that contains
an attached multimedia file, such as a
picture or a song.
