 Course Objective(s)

 To introduce the process planning concepts to make cost

estimation for various products after process planning.

 To calculate the probable cost of an item well in advance to its

manufacture

 To know all the expenses over and above prime cost which are
termed as overhead expenses.
 To calculate the efficiency and value of machine or asset lapse of
time that reduces with the lapse of time during use.
To estimate the machining time for various operations.
