Martin Castañeda proposes creating a large pointillism painting of the Coca Cola logo using cut soda bottles filled with different drinks. This will be placed next to the arts department to critique overconsumption and promote reuse of garbage in art. Castañeda was inspired by artists who use unconventional materials like food or a tree in its original form. He plans to additionally make a factory sculpture out of bottles to relate his painting to the product it represents.

TRANSFORMATIONS By: Martin Castañeda New forms of painting
■ My idea is to create a huge painting of the Coca Cola logo.
■ This is going to be made from bottles of different types of sodas. I will cut the bottles in half and use the bottom parts to make a kind of pointillism with these bottles. inside these bottles I will put different drinks to give color to the image. ■ I will do this next to the arts department so that people passing through one of the first floor railings can see the clear image. ■ doing this I want to give an idea to know, more than an idea a critique, with this I criticize all the consumption and environmental damage done by the bottles. I also give the community an idea to reuse the garbage by making art out of it, of not conventional objets sketch Vik Muniz: Non conventional material
