 La oración condicional
La oración condicional es una oración compleja ya
que esta formada por dos oraciones (en algunos
casos divididas por una coma).

La palabra clave para encontrarlas en un texto es

“IF” cuyo significado es “SI”.

 ZERO CONDITIONAL
• Uso: expresa verdades universales.
• Formación: IF - PRESENT SIMPLE + PRESENT
SIMPLE.

 FIRST CONDITIONAL
• Uso: Predicciones. (Situaciones posibles)
• Formación: IF -PRESENT SIMPLE + WILL
(future)

 SECOND CONDITIONAL
• Uso: Situaciones irreales o hipotéticas en el
presente/futuro.
• Fomación: IF + PAST SIMPLE + WOULD (ía)

- If I was/were millionaire, I would travel around

the world.

(Si fuese millionario, viajaría alrededor del mundo)

 THIRD CONDITIONAL
• Uso: Situaciones irreales o hipotéticas en el
pasado.
• Formación: IF + PAST PERFECT + WOULD HAVE.

If I had moved to Buenos Aires, I would have

studied Psychology.

(Si me hubiese mudado a Buenos Aires, habría

estudiado psicología).
