Jue Yin Foot Meridian LIVER MERIDIAN

 Lv-1: on the big toe, 0.1 cun from


the prox. lateral corner of the nail

 Lv- 3: in the depression between the


1st and 2nd metatarsal bones

 Lv-4: anterior to the medial


malleolus, in the depression medial
to the anterior tibialis tendon

 Lv-6: on the medial surface


of the tibia, 7 cun prox. To
the medial malleolus

 Lv-8: at medial end of


popliteal crease

 Lv-10:
at edge of adductor longus
 4 cun distal to upper border
pubic symphisis

 Lv-11: 2 cum prox. to Lv 10

 Lv-12: in the groin above the


femoral artery, 2.5 cun from
the anterior midline

 Lv-13: at the free end of the


11th rib

 P-1: in the 4th ICS,
1 cun lateral to the nipple
(often very sore point)

heads of the biceps brachii

 Over median nerve (warn patient of possible nerve
pain, needle obliquely and carefully)

 Shown in RCT to be effective for post-op nausea.
