INTRODUCTION

•Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing

environmental issues, as rapidly increasing production of
disposable plastic products overwhelms the world's ability to
deal with them.
•According to Status of Solid Waste Management in the
Philippines About 35,580 tons of garbage is generated every
day in the Philippines. On the average, each person in the
country produces about 0.5 kg and 0.3 kg of garbage every
day in the urban and rural areas, respectively.
•Plastics are (mostly) synthetic (human made) materials,
made from polymers, plastic is terrible for the environment.
•According to Global Citizen (2018), there are things that we
didn't know about what is the consequence of using plastics
everyday. Plastics nowadays can be seen every where like
estero, canal, river, etc, that can cause floods, sicknesses, damage
to properties and the worse flooding include loss of human life.
•As in other developing countries, the explosion in plastic waste
in the Philippines began when consumer-goods companies began
selling products in single-use, throwaway packaging.
•Plastics are part of the daily life of Filipinos, but plastic
pollution does not only affect animals that live solely in oceans.
Seabirds are also greatly affected.
•Today as population grow faster it can increase also the number
of platics that use everyday.
•Plastics consist of a variety of synthetic organic polymers and
additives, giving each plastic product its unique properties. That
can affect a lot in human lives.
OBJECTIVES
•The main objective of this product is to lessen the
amount of plastic wrapper nowadays.
•To shown in the society that plastic wrapper or
anything plastic can recycle and can be useful again.
•To help the society and help the mother nature
through Plastic recycling it is relates to the process of
collecting waste or scrapping plastic and reprocessing
materials into helpful and functional products.
METHODS
Umbrella

Cut the plastic wrapper

In a circle form
Preparing the materials

Get the size of the umbrella

Use gluegun to sure

the quality
Then Ironing to stick the
Then sewing plastic wrapper together
Attach it to the holder Raincoat
of umbrella
Final Product

Sewing
Measuring the size of raincoat
Sewing the buttons

Final Product
RESULTS
CONCLUSION
•Umbrella and raincoat are one of the most needed
things when it comes in rainy season. It is
acceptable in terms of usefulness, affordable,
environment friendly and recycled materials that
the researcher used as their main ingredient to
make the product. It is also accepted by the people
in our society because of the overall mean of
4.45 came from the survey. The suitability of the
products can be used in either rainy season and
summer season.
RECOMMENDATIONS

•The product was successfully made but there are

some cases need to improved, like the design of the
raincoat must have a color to make it beautiful.
•It is applicable if the researchers add some designs
and decorate to the umbrella to be more pleasant to
the eyes
•Then the researcher need put some clothes to the
raincoat to make it more comfortable and safe for
the user.
•If the researcher try to put something on the
umbrella to give a curved shape like the ordinary
umbrella it is more good to the eye.
