INTRODUCTION

 75% of the Earth is covered with water and out of that, majority is
salt water.

 Water plays a major role in concrete from mixing to curing.

 Here we are going to make concrete with salt water and study
the effects of it on the various properties of concrete including
strength and water absorption.
METHODOLOGY

 Initially we would make concrete cubes with salt water.


 Various graphs of
1. Early Strength at 7 days vs Salt Concentration,
2. Later Strength at 28 days vs Salt Concentration,
3. Water Absorption vs Salt Concentration and,
4. Permeability vs Salt Concentration.
would be plotted.
 If a lower strength is achieved then an additional material is added
and concrete is again tested by repeating the above same
procedures.
