• If display is locked parameters cannot be edited.

To enter password:
• Enter EDIT MODE
• Use UP or DOWN key to input password.
• If “FFFF” is entered, user may use Right arrow to edit parameters.

• Direction of Rotation in which the QX Series tool will count angle and measure torque.

• Functionality is restricted through the version of ICS software used to interface

Registration
• ICS comes with 30 day temporary software license.
• Obtain permanent license within 30 days or software will be disabled.

To obtain permanent license register ICS completing the following process.

1. Send Email to ics_registration@irco.com with subject line


“ICS license request” and the following information in main body.
• Name
• Title
• Company
• Location
• Return email address.
• Hard drive serial number where software is loaded.
• Order number used to purchase software
• Distributor location where software was purchased
• Estimated number of controllers being used in facility

A software license file will be sent to you within 24 hours

Barcode Setup
Modes

Passive
• Attaches barcode string to EOR (end of run) data received from tool.
• Barcode information stored locally in IC-PCM1:1 cycle log but not in tool cycle log.

Active
• All functionality of Passive mode
• Additional functionality allows Barcode to select active configuration of tool.
• Valid Barcodes identified based on characters in Barcode matching criteria set for
corresponding configuration number.
