CONTENT’S BOOK BASED ON CURRICULUM 13
According to Dana, Ferris, john S, and Heddock (2005:125)
Textbooks are so pervasive in educational system throughout the
world. Indeed, Textbooks provide the backbone for the courses
many educators teach while the textbooks have to fit with the
curriculum.

For analyzing this book, The reseacher use curriculum 13 to


know the appropriateness and fulfill this book to be the good
criteria.
The Objectives Of This Study

1. To know the appropriateness of this english


textbooks “learn more english 2” with the
core and basic competence of 2013
curriculum
2. To know the english textbook “learning
english more 2” fulfills the criteria of good
textbook by pusat perbukuan
Text book evaluation
According to the permendikbud No. 8 Th. 2016, its about the book that is
used by unit of education, These parts of book :
1. Leather book (cover, designation book, identity of publisher, ilustration)
2.leather rear (all of the contents)
3.backs books

Curriculum
Curriculum is the subject that are thaught by a school, college etc or the
things that are studied in particular object

The formulation of 2013 is based on the objectives of national education
outlined in UU No.20/2003

CONCLUSION

The researcher concluded that the textbook covers around 82.23%


materials is are relevant with core and basic competence of 2013
Curriculum for the eighth grade students of Junior High School. The
researcher concluded that the materials of English textbook
“Learning More English 2” was appropriate with the Core
Competence and Basic Competence of 2013 Curriculum for eighth
grade students of Junior High School.
