My visit to Frankfurt for the 2014 Auto

Show was great. This was the 65th edition
of the fair. It took place from September
25th to October 2nd in Hanover, Germany.

I arrived in Germany on Tuesday, 23rd of

September, two days before the start of the
event. I flew from New York to Frankurt. I
enjoyed the flight a lot.

I arrived at the exhibition center on

Wednesday, which was the first day of the
show. There were outdoor and indoor
exhibitions and lot of visitors.

I first visited the electric cars pavilion.

There were several exhibitions by different
car makers. I enjoyed them all.
The place was full of people because the
cars were really amazing.

A few days later, I attended a presentation

about the cars of the future. The exhibitors
showed a 3D clip about new technologies in
car manufacturing. These exhibition was
very interesting too. They even had a see-
through model car made in glass.

Before the end of the show, I had the

opportunity to do a drive test of a very
modern vehicle.

I traveled with a group of visitors to a nearby

circuit. We chose our favorite car and drove
along the circuit for several minutes. I felt
like a real race pilot!

Before leaving Germany, I had to try the

local food: sausages, of course! During the
last day of the show, I visited one of the local
restaurants. I ordered the Frankfurter
Würstchen which means “The little
Frankfurt saugage” It was absolutely
delicious! I also had a sauerkraut (cabbage
in vinegar) and a beer with it. These are the
usual sides that German people eat with
sausage.

Travel 5 hours by bus to get to where the

art museum fair was. We travel all day the
incredible most popular works of art that
exist.
We toured a lot and learned a lot.

The next day after enjoying a delicious

Tolima breakfast tamale which is the best
dish found in the city.
we went to finish touring the art museum.
There we enjoyed a magnificent view and
took many photos with the different
works.

They taught us about making one of the

best artist of the century Fernando Botero
Colombian expresses everything he sees
and feels through plastic, the way this man
works is incredible since he does
everything with his own hands.

The next day we headed to the city center

to culminate with the art exhibitions there
we found new artists who stood out for
seeing how they came out with their first
works. They taught us a little about the
subject of abstract painting.
It is very beautiful express one of the
people who were there and if the abstract
painting is very beautiful because it looks
more real.

Today we decided to buy some clothes for

something different that we are going to
do tomorrow. I bought some long chors a
long-sleeved blouse and some very nice
tennis shoes and in passing I bought a
beautiful detail to my mom a memory of a
young woman riding a bicycle and smiling
and the bike in the front of the basket has
candles that aromatize the room.

Before completing the trip we decided to

ride a balloon touring the city from there
we admire the last day that the exhibition
was from there everything was beautiful
to feel the breeze on the face and see
everything from a different angle made
that day unique and special.
observing nature and everything that man
has created here is where we realize how
beautiful we are around us.

To conclude this trip we decided to share

as a family eating something delicious and
remembering pleasant moments from our
past and enjoying the last time we had in
the beautiful city of Ibague Tolima. Then
we decided to take the bus and go home.
