Action Plan For

Sustainable Education
GENERAL THEME OF OUR ACTION
PLAN
• Basically; we have divided our action plan into 5
aspects. They are:
• WHAT? - what we are going to do to bring a change
in the educational process or tackle the problems in
education in our local areas .
• WHO?- the people who are going to get involved in
our action plan. for eg- students,youth ,local
government,general public etc.
• TIMEFRAME? - We define a precise point in the
future by when we will complete a certain goal.
• RESOURCES? - The resources that we will use our
goals and missions. for eg, human resource and
economy.

• COMMUNICATION? - It is basically how we bring


our action plan to the world. For eg, facebook and
social media
FINDING THE COMMON GROUND
• We will not try to build Rome in one day.
• We will lay one brick at a time.
• we dream big but start small.
• we decided to create an action plan which we can
go and practically in our local area
NUMBERS SPEAK LOUDER THAN
WORDs
• As of 2012; 66% of the Terai Dalits; 52% of Muslims
and 35% of hill ethnic groups had not been to
school citing lack of adequate books and stationary
as the major issue.
• 73% of government schools started late in 2015
because the books didn't reach to the respective
districts in time.
• There is only one public library at a diameter of 100
km in Nepal.
OUR EUREKA MONENT
• we decided to make the stationary items and books
easily available to the underpreviliged children of
our local areas and the children of remote areas
• no children must be deprived of education because
he cannot afford stationary items
• which led to our EUREKA MOMENT
THE EDU-CREATION INTERNATIONAL
YOUTH COMMUNITY

• It is an international community of youth founded by


13 participants of the RIYS 2016.
• EDU-CREATION= education + creation
• we :
• aim at creating new ways of learning
• create network of youth around the world
• share and discuss problems in education and seek for a
creative way of solving the problems
MAIN AGENDA
• provide the underpriviliged children of our local
areas and the children of remote areas with
adequate supply of stationary items and books
