About Golcha associates

• Golcha industry is located 4km from Pratap nagar

NH48.
• This industry manufacture talc powder.
• This is the first leading Indian talc powder
manufacturing industry.
• Annual Turnover is Rs. 100 - 500 Crore.
OUR REQUIREMENT IN PLANTS:-

 For procedures involved for monitoring and taking

corrective action for machine.

 Golcha Associated forms an linking platform

between different companies by supplying the
requirement as per their demand.
IMPORTANCE WITH “ME” DEPARTMENT

 For the proper product output a well define

machinery setup is required.

 Manufactures the different mechanical machine to

perform different function.

 Gives birth of many small Industries.

MAIN AIM OF ROTATION
Main aim behind the rotation of various departments is that one can
understand the working of each and every department and to see that
how people (workers, middle level executives, top officials) work in
incorporate environment.

Main departments of Golcha associated udaipur are:

 Production
 Administration
Mining:-

 In Rajasthan we are having eleven

soapstone mines.

 It covering an area of 514 hectar the

machine.

Two type mining is done:-

I. surface mining
II. sub surface minig

Raw material:-
 Talc is a clay mineral composed of hydrated
magnesium silicate with the chemical formula
Mg3Si4O10(OH)2.

 Talc in powdered form, often in combination with

corn starch, is widely used as baby powder.

 This mineral is used as a thickening agent and

lubricant, is an ingredient in ceramics, paint and
roofing material, and is also one of the main
ingredients in many cosmetic products.

 The Mohs scale of mineral hardness is based on

scratch hardness comparison, ranging from 1-10,
a value of 10 being the hardest of minerals.
Mining techniques:-
 Mining techniques can be divided into two
common excavation types: surface mining
and sub-surface (underground) mining.
 A 85% of minerals (excluding petroleum and
natural gas) in the United States, including
98% of metallic ores.
 Targets are divided into two general
categories of materials: placerdeposits,
consisting of valuable minerals contained
within river gravels, beach sands, and other
unconsolidated materials.
 This technique involves digging neither at the
surface nor underground.
 The extraction of target minerals by this
technique requires that they be soluble,
e.g., potash, potassium chloride, sodium
chloride, sodium sulfate, which dissolve in
water.
Process:-
 Mining
 Transportation
 Initial crushing
 Separation
 Process of Hoper
 Pulverizer
 Dust collector
 Sieve process
 Packing process
Transportation :-
Crushing :-
 A crusher is a machine designed to reduce large rocks into smaller
rocks, gravel, or rock dust.

 Crushers may be used to reduce the size, or change the form, of

waste materials so they can be more easily disposed of or recycled, or
to reduce the size of a solid mix of raw materials.

 Crushing devices hold material between two parallel or tangent solid

surfaces.

 Apply sufficient force to bring the surfaces together to generate

enough energy within the material being crushed.
Separation:-
Pulveriser :-
Dust collector:
Product industry offer:
 industries place exacting techno-commercial demands
on the materials... and talc acts as an important
supplement to critical materials like:

Uses of Talc:-

Paper
Plastics
Pharmaceuticals
Ceramics
Cosmetics
Animal Feed
Paints
Detergents
Environmental effects:-

Environmental issues can include erosion, formation of sinkholes, loss of

biodiversity, and contamination of soil, groundwater and surface water by chemicals
from mining processes.

Contamination resulting from leakage of chemicals can also affect the health of
the local population if not properly controlled.

These codes and regulations all require the common steps of environmental impact
assessment, development of environmental management plans, mine closure
planning .
Industrial use :-
 Which they fragment the starting material, with primary
and secondary crushers handling coarse materials.

 Each crusher is designed to work with a certain maximum

size of raw material.

 Rock breakers are typically located next to a crusher to

reduce oversize material too large for a crusher.

 Crushers are used to reduce particle size enough so that

the material can be processed into finer particle in a
grinder.

 A consist of a crusher followed by a SAG mill followed by a

ball mill.
