COMMUNICATION

It’s the process by which the receiver and


the sender exchange information with the
aim of relating to each other.
ELEMENTS OF COMMUNICATION

• Issuer: is the one who transmits the message.


• Receiver: is the one who receives the message.Código: es el conjunto de signos

• Message: is the information or set of data that is transmitted.
• Context: are the circumstances in which the communication process takes place.
• Communication channel: it is the physical medium that will be used to send the
message, such as letter, telephone, television, internet, etc
TYPES OF COMMUNICATION
The types of communication are divided into two. verbal communication and written
communication.
Written Communication.
Verbal Communication. Written communication is one that is established

MEDIA OF COMMUNICATIONS
A means of communication is a technical system used to carry out any type of communication.
The media are classified according to the physical structure that supports the transmission of information, they are
classified in:
*The audiovisual media.(TV, MOVIE THEATER)

*The radio means.(RADIO , MICROPHONE)

*The print media. (NEWSPAPERS, MAGAZINESPAPER , FOllETO)

*Digital media. (INTERNET , COMPUTERS, CELLPHONE)


COMMUNIATION FUNCTIONS.
Within the communication process, five basic functions are distinguished:

• Informative function: The message transmits objective and supported information with
verifiable data.

• Persuasive function: It is about convincing the recipient of the message or modifying their
behavior for a specific purpose.

• Formative function: The intention is to transmit messages that generate new knowledge in
the receiver

• Entertainment function: It is about creating messages designed for the enjoyment of the
recipient
COMMUNICATION IN ANIMALS

Communication is an important phenomenon in the animal world. It is done in many ways and has countless
adaptive effects. However, its most relevant effect is to increase reproductive efficiency in those animals
capable of sending and receiving signals.
VISUAL SIGNS: Visual cues is one of the easiest ways of communication between animals
CHEMICAL SIGNS: This type of communication occurs through molecules of individuals of the same species
called pheromones.
