which offered more courses or programs to the applicants out
there.

at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

DIPLOMA IN SCIENCE
Diploma in Science was introduced in the May 2001 Academic session with
a pioneer batch of thirty-three students.
Initially, this programme was conducted over 5 semesters (2 1/2 years).
From June 2003 onwards, the new curriculum structure was introduced and
the tenure of study was extended to 6 semesters (3 years).
The introduction of the DIS programme to this campus also marked
another important chapter for UiTM Sarawak as this programme caters for
aspiring students who are interested in the field of applied sciences.
Starting from November 2013, the program is back to be conducted over 5
semester (2 1/2 years).
This program emphasizes on strengthening the knowledge of students in
Science and Mathematics.

The Applied Science Center at campus Samarahan 2 have their own
society club that managed by students which is :

activities for applied science diploma’s students such as :
