*What are the three major academic problems of Freshmen Engineering students?
Data Gathering in Survey Questionnaire

• A total of 50 freshmen engineering students

completed the questionnaire(31 males and 19
females). The freshmen engineering students were
chosen randomly.9 participants from Computer
engineering (5 males & 4 females), 32 participants
from Civil Engineering (19 males & 13 females), 5
Electrical Engineering (4 males & 1 female) and 4
Mechanical Engineering (3 males & 1 female).

Conclusion
The three major academic problems of Freshmen
engineering students have problems in their difficulty of
understanding lessons in Mathematics and other related
subject, which is 50% of the respondents agreed in the
statement. Then, Freshmen also agreed that they don't
have good study habits. No matter how I tried to study
my lessons it seems not working during exam, with a
total of 44% of respondent agreed. Lastly, freshmen also
lack of energy to answer and do their projects and
homeworks. Therefore we conclude that freshmen
engineering have more academic problem in
understanding lessons in Mathematics and other related
subject.
