“The Prayer Life of

Jesus”
Jesus prayed at the
beginning of His
ministry.
1
Mark 1:35
“Now in the morning, having
risen a long while before daylight,
he went out and departed to a
solitary place; and there He
prayed.
Jesus prayed at the
middle of His
ministry.
2
Matthew 14:23
“And when He had sent the
multitudes away, He went up on a
mountain by Himself to pray.
Now hen evening came, he was
alone there.
Jesus prayed at the
end of His earthly
ministry.
3
Luke 22:39-40
“Coming out, He went to the mount
of Olives, as He was accustomed,
and His disciples also followed Him.
When He came to the place, He said
to them, ‘Pray that you may not
enter into temptation.’”
Jesus prayed even
while He was on
the cross.
4
Luke 23:34-36
“Then Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them,
for they do not know what they do.’ And
they divided His garments and cast
lots… and when Jesus had cried out
with a loud voice, He said, ‘Father, into
your hands I commit My spirit.’ Having
said this, He breathed His last.”
Jesus prayed one
more time God
before He died.
5
John 19:30
“So when Jesus had received the
sour wine, He said, ‘It is finished!’
and bowing His head, He gave up
His spirit.”
Jesus’ ministry in
heaven today is
intercession.

Hebrews 7:25
“Therefore He is also able to save to
the uttermost those who come to
God through Him, since He always
live to make intercession for them.”
