• INDUCTIVE REASONING - refers to
reasoning that takes specific
information and makes a broader
generalization that is considered
probable
• DEDUCTIVE REASONING - is a type
of reasoning which goes from general
to specific.
• Appeal to Pity – using emotions such as
pity and sympathy
