Quality Circles
MEANING:
A quality circle is a volunteer group composed of workers (or even
students), usually under the leadership of their supervisor , who are
trained to identify, analyze and solve work-related problems and present
their solutions to management in order to improve the performance of
the organization, and motivate and enrich the work of employees.

ADVATAGES:
1.It is a voluntary forum of workers
2. It makes full use of a worker’s potential.
3. It provides the worker autonomy and sense of achievement.
4. It ensures greater participation and involvement of a worker
in the day-to-day functioning of his department.
5. It helps in finding solutions to several problems and in
removing cobwebs and bottlenecks in daily functioning.
