Gender Equality or Equality Between Women
and Men:
 Both women and men are free to develop their
personal abilities and make choices without the
limitations set by stereotypes, rigid gender roles and
prejudices.

 Different behavior, aspirations and needs of women


and men are considered, valued and favored equally.

 Their rights, responsibilities and opportunities will


not depend on whether they were born female or
male.
Gender Equity:

 Fairness of treatment for women and men


according to their respective needs.

 May include equal treatment or treatment that


is different but is considered equivalent in
terms of rights, benefits, obligations and
opportunities.
Conclusion:
There is no logic and reason why women

should be marginalized,
No reason behind subordination;

No justification behind stereotyping,

multiple burden and violence against


women!
In the eyes of the Law and in the eyes of

God, men and women are equal and should


be equal!
