Mediant 2000

► Digital gateway that incorporates 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 E1, T1, or J1 spans


(16 spans in two separate modules)
► Supports up to 480 simultaneous calls
► Based on TP-1610 board
► Dual AC or single DC power supply
► Provides an optional second cPCI slot that can be used for general
applications

Q: Why does the Ethernet Interface Redundancy feature doesn’t
operate on the Mediant 1000

► The Ethernet Interface Redundancy feature is disabled by


default on the Mediant 1000. To enable it set the parameter
MIIRedundancyEnable to 1.
