 INTRODUCTION
Tourism is a vast industry which provides a
number of supplementary services. Tourism has
become an important segment that has an impact
on the development of country’s economy.
Tourism stands the most important source of
welfare for many regions and countries.
NEED AND IMPORTANCE
In today’s world, people have been so busy in
their own fast and stressed up routine that there
is a need for a vacation to rejuvenate and gear up.
Rather than a restful holiday spending on a leisure
trip, an energetic and spontaneous trip is
required.

Tourism acts as the second largest foreign
exchange earner in India. The tourism industry
employs a large number of people, including both,
skilled and unskilled. According to the ministry of
tourism, India; the overall income solely by
tourism in 2018 was Rs.1,75,423crores.
In an attempt to give a boost to the ministry of
tourism, India; has assigned Adventure Tour
Operators Association of India (ATOAI) a task to
organize a series of roadshows and events
different countries including India with an aim to
double the adventure tourism in India in two
years.
India is known as the land of variety, where
different types of natural beauties are
experienced all over the country. Places like
Himalayas are widely known by people all over the
world, making it more visited. But, India also
comprises of some unrevealed and less popular
places in the western Ghats.
With increasing rate of tourism, the amount of
waste generated by the people experiencing
places for their rejuvenation is also increasing.
There is need to take control over it and choose
sustainable ways to enhance the same.

AIM SCOPE LIMITATION LIVE CASE STUDY

The main aim of this topic is to promote
adventure tourism and edify people about various
adventure activities.
OBJECTIVE
The objective is to increase tourism of the western
Ghats and add to the foreign revenue of the
nation. The objective would also be to get humans
closer to the nature and create a sense of
responsibility towards it.
To promote sustainable ways to tourism that
would further help in gaining livelihood for
individuals.
This topic, focuses of adventure activities and
making tourists perform various possible types of
adventure activities.
Focusing on rejuvenation and refreshment of
tourists and giving them knowledge about the
nature and adventures.
It actively contributes towards spreading
knowledge about the nature and also dealing with
human’s physical and mental health curing by the
nature. It thus, indirectly helps in well-being of
humans, but doesn’t fairly help in the increase of
economy of the nation.

AIM
To design a five star hotel with emphasis on
contemporary styles and create spaces for people
of various categories (business, vacation and
tourists) to spend more with pleasure and luxury
close to nature.

 INTRODUCTION
