Presenting Complaints:
• Fever (3 days)
• Vomiting (3 days)
History of Presenting illness:
• My patient was in her usual state of health 3
days back when she started having intermittent
high grade fever.
• Patient also has 4 episodes of vomiting per day
which is aggravated by food intake but not
relieved by any factor.
• Vomiting is clear and often contains food
particles.
• There is associated decrease in appetite,
nausea and occasional pain in epigastric
region.
• There is no associated diarrhea, constipation,
hematemesis, melena, yellowish discoloration
of skin and sclera.
