Barbadensis) and Coconut Oil (Cocos
Nucifera) as an Alternative Shoe Shiner
for Coloured Leather Shoes

Shoes are accessories that are vital
to people. On the other hand, it is
important because of its fashion appeal
that adds emphasis to your clothing. A
potential product in nature can promote
the quality of shoes as an environmental
friendly as the process does not need
expensive factory equipment and the
substances do not leave environmental
residue.

Nowadays shoe shiners are expensive and some
of it are not even reliable and satisfying. It is
inexpensive, chemical-free, environmental friendly and
organic shoe shiner.
Through this product situation, the researcher
investigated and experimented a study about the
alternative of Aloe Vera and coconut oil as alternative
organic shoe shiner especially for the less fortunate
students.

Research Procedure

1. Cut the Aloe Vera into halves


2. Scrape the aloe vera gel
3. Pound the gel using mortar and pestle
4. Strain it then set it aside for a while
5. After that, get the milk of the coconut by adding water
and to squeeze it.
6. Cook the coconut milk for 35 minutes in low heat
while stirring it until it’s golden brown.

In this study we determined the effectiveness of the product through surveys, the
right measurement of our product through trials and the validity of shoe color.

Conclusion

Based on the result obtained in this study, the


following conclusions are drawn:

1. Determined that in one tablespoon applied product


in shoes could last for at least five days.
2. Determined that the product is valid for any kind
of shoe color.
3. Determined that the product will cease after 1
month.

Recommendation

Based from the drawn conclusions, the researchers


recommended the following:

1. Gather more data in order to remain the viscosity


of the product after it was processed.
2. Conduct more reliable tests to have a satisfying
product.
