 La patio is a rooftop restro bar located in Andheri opposite
Infinity mall.
 This restro bar is
designed for couples .
 Candlelight dinner
ambience is given to
the interiors of this
restro bar.
 The interiors were
separated in two parts
- open area
- inside area.

Entrance lobby and waiting area
 There was no particular entrance lobby and waiting area.

 Direct entrance was


given to the bar.
 The reception was
also very small, just
for one person to
check the bookings
with no sitting.

Lighting
 Minimal lighting was provided to suit the ambience of
candlelight dinner.
 The inside area had
pendant lights.
 The rooftop area had
streetlights, footlights
and lighting on
artificial plantations.
 Every table had
individual candle.
 Waterfall had separate
lighting.

Wall finishes
 Glass façade was used around the disco to highlight that area.
 Stone wall finishes were given around the waterfall area.
 Full length wall mirrors were provided on the walls near
entrance.
Flooring
 The tables near the water floor
had a raised wooden flooring
with lighting fixtures below it.
 The other areas had ceramic tile
flooring.

Furniture
 The rooftop area had normal height dinner tables and chairs.
 The inside area had low sofa sitting with low height tables.
 The bar counter had high chairs.

Sitting Capacity
 The total sitting capacity of the entire restro bar was
approximately 70 people.
 The rooftop area had 6 tables for 4 people and 2 tables for 6
people.
 The inside area had 8 tables for 4 people.
 The bar counter had 5 chairs.

Focal point
 The waterfall area and its surrounding was a focal point in the
design.

Washrooms
 The washrooms were very small with one unit for male and
one unit for female.
 Two common wash hand basins were provided.
 Less amount of lighting was given even in this area.

Strengths
 The sitting and furniture arrangement was such that it helped
in specifying zones.
 A screen was projected where music was played.
 The ambience of candlelight dinner for couples.
 The view from rooftop.
 Dance floor.
 The arrangement behind the bar counter.
 Facilities and services provided by staff.
 Lighting as per the ambience created.

Weakness
 No specific entrance lobby and waiting area.
 Very small reception.
 Congested and small toilets.
 Common wash hand basins for male and female.
 No false ceiling design as such.
 Less lighting in washrooms.
 No different zone for people who smoked hookah, therefore it
was very disturbing for people not having hookah.
