 Problem

In this fast moving world today where students,

corporate slaves, old aged and other people are
always occupied with either their work or studies
don't get time to follow their passions and hobbies.
They are unable to keep themselves fit & play due to
lack of time, facilities, equipment, area, players to
play with, budget etc.The involvement in sports helps
in the overall development of the individuals and
economy too. So, the problem which arises is that
how can we influence more and more people to
indulge themselves into sports?
 Solution

Our solution to this problem is to design an app which

would help people overcome these problems. The app
would provide services such as allowing the users to
view nearby grounds according to their requirements
and to find other people to play with.
 Purpose of the app

 To find other people or teams to play with.

 Users can chat among themselves in the app.
 The app would also provide the users with
information/links of various sports tournaments or
events being organized in their city and can get
themselves registered for the same.
 To find, book and pay for grounds/turfs/courts etc in
the app itself.
 To find coaches and trainers for teams as well as
personal training.
 The company would act as an intermediary to sell sports
equipments at low cost to the users through local
equipment manufacturers.

 This feature would allow the users to find players to play along, create
their own teams, play against them etc.
 They would be able to chat with them on personal chats or group chats.

 ‘Finding AreAs’

 The app would allow the users to find the area (ground,
turf, pitch, training nets, court etc) according to their
sport and budget at which they can play at.
 The user can filter the area searches according to the
distance, budget and their suitable timing
 The user can also book and pay online for the area.
 They also have the option to look for unpaid
grounds/turfs/courts.
 They can split the booking amount with other players on
the app itself.
 ‘Finding TrAiners’

 The users can find coaches for their teams or even

personal trainers.
 They can filter their searches according to the sport,
age, gender and qualifications.
 The coaches can upload data or their personal
information on the app.
 The company would charge a commission of 5% from the
fees payable to the coach.
 ‘Procuring sPorTs
equiPmenT’
 The app would allow users to buy the equipment at a
really low cost.
 The app would act as an intermediary between the
customers and the local manufacturers so as to reduce
the costs.
 The app would also allow the users to rent the
equipment which they would have to themselves pick
from the common centres in the city.
 The company also intends to collect equipments for
charity purposes. In this case users can donate their old
used equipment and get credit scores to avail discounts.

TournAmenTs’
 The company would create a platform where the organizers can
create their own events and post them on the app.
 The users would be provided with the information and the link so
as to register for the event, and also to pay for it online itself.
 The users can search for the tournaments according to the sports,
age group, location, participation fee etc
 The company would organize its own events too so as to give a
platform to those who don’t get enough opportunities, coming from
low income groups.
 The company would also collaborate with seniors officials and
coaches to provide coaching to young talents coming from low
income groups the coaching they deserve at a very nominal free.
 The company would organize other different types of events too
like corporate events, charity events, inter college/school events,
events for senior citizens etc.
 ‘sundAy clAsses’

 The app would also initiate group classes for women and
children to provide them with self defence training.
These classes would be available at minimal rates.
 There would be Yoga and meditation classes too which
would be available for all age groups.
 These classes would be in yoga centers or open parks on
Sundays only.
 Budget

 The development and maintenence of the app would be

outsourced which would cost around Rs.4-5 lakhs for the
development and around Rs.1 lakh per year for its
maintenence.
 The cost of each tournament organized would be
somewhere around Rs.60,000- Rs.80,000.
 The opening of common centres for customers to
buy,rent equipment and other services would cost
around Rs.75,000. (The place would be rented)
 Other costs are mainly either variable cost or
indeterminable as they would come up during the later
stages of the project.
