change (their behaviour, attitudes, thoughts, and ways) and/or accommodate your own
wishes whilst accepting that they may be unable to or unwilling to, or are unprepared
to meet our request to be influenced

Interpersonal skills are the behaviours and tactics a person uses to
interact with others effectively. In the business world, the term refers to an
employee's ability to work well with others. Interpersonal skills range
from communication and listening to attitude and deportment

First, let's talk about what a team is.?


A team is two or more individuals in an organization with common goals.

Team effectiveness refers to the system of getting people in a company or


institution to work together effectively. The idea behind team effectiveness
is that a group of people working together can achieve much more than if
the individuals of the team were working on their own.

LEADING THE TEAM

A team leader is someone who provides guidance, instruction, direction and


leadership to a group of individuals (the team) for the purpose of achieving a key
result or group of aligned results. ... Leaders also contribute by leading through
example.
TEAM LEADERS CORE RESPONSBILITIES

1.Assemble team members with a combination of skills required to accomplish goal.

2.Develop a strategy by which team members can use to reach the project goal

3.Assign tasks to team members including those that he/she will manage.

4.Determine completion timeline and monitor progress to ensure project is on track.

5.Communicate progress to upper level management
