Muhamad Hazlalin Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nordin Yahaya


He has 12 years working experience in the field of
design, procurement and installation of offshore and onshore oil Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nordin Yahaya is currently the Marketing
and gas pipelines in Malaysia, Sudan, Vietnam, Myanmar, + International Student Manager, School of Postgraduate
Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei and Abu Dhabi. He has worked Studies, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Dr. Nordin
for various design consultants, offshore installation graduated with BE (Hons) in Civil Engineering from
contractors and even operator i.e ExxonMobil. Salford University (1988), MSc. In Offshore Engineering
Key design experience includes participation in basic, from Cranfield University (1992) and PhD in Civil and
conceptual and detailed pipeline design projects for both Offshore Engineering from Heriot – Watt University,
onshore and offshore pipelines. United Kingdom (1999). In 2000, he was awarded Young

pipeline route survey on board TLGH & Racal Survey Vessel for
Petronas and EMEPMI projects.
