Approach Control Service Area Control Service AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER (ATC) A profession that provides traffic management services in the air, especially airplanes to prevent passengers from getting too close to each other, preventing collisions between airplanes and airplanes with obstacles around them during operation. A personnel responsible for the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic in the global air traffic control system. the purpose of air traffic services provided by ATC is based on the Civil Aviation Safety Regulation (PKPS) section 170
• Prevent collisions between aircraft;
• Prevent collisions between aircraft on the manoeuvring area and obstructions on that area; • Expedite and maintain an orderly flow of air traffic; • Provide advice and information useful for the safe and efficient conduct of flights; • Notify appropriate organizations regarding aircraft in need of search and rescue aid, and assist such organizations as required. OPERATIONS ROOM ATC ATC regulates air traffic in the tower / tower for the Aerodrome Control Tower, so that it can clearly see the runway / runway conditions, while the Approach Control Unit and Area Control Center are in a room adjacent to the tower / tower to facilitate coordination. WORKLOAD ATC Clearence delivery (Aerodrome control) Provide all information / ATS route(the height of the plane requested or allowed to fly to the destination) regulate all movements from the plane push back, to the plane to the taxiway, waiting at the end of the runway to take off(Ground Control) set off the plane and land the plane.
