What We Will Learn:

This week we will continue our work with Unit 4 of our Language Arts curriculum.
Our unit’s Essential Question is “How do people create stories?” Our phonics
skill for the week will be the consonant digraphs wh, ch, and tch.

We will be beginning Module 2 in math this week. We will be working on solving

problems with three addends, two of which make ten. We will be beginning to
learn about continents, taking “trips” to each one to learn more about them. In
Writer’s Workshop, we will be writing Non-fiction chapter books.

Homework:
We will be beginning Module 2 in math this week.
Monday: Home Reading and Module 2, Lesson 1 p. 169 & 170
Tuesday: Home Reading and Module 2, Lesson 2 p. 173 & 174
Wednesday: Home Reading and Module 2 Lesson 3, p. 177 & 178
Thursday: Home Reading and Module 2 Lesson 4 p. 181 & 182
Friday: No homework 
