Established in 2012, Dell Champs is a national

competition consisting of student and parent teams from


25 cities.
• HOW IT WORKS
• On Ground
• There are two levels: Premilitary and On-Stage finals
• The top two teams from the school level get to register to the City
level and work on a project of their choice.
• 1 City Level
• In this round, 25 of the best projects are shortlisted for the national
level.
• The project is either a video or presentation which is to be submitted
within a week of registration.

• National Level
• First, teams submit the project for evaluation and then on the day of
the National Final take an online test, followed by a presentation to
the panel of judges.
• The top 4 teams will be gratified.

EVALUATION
The panel of judges is from the field of technology, education and publication
evaluating the following:

Depth of knowledge
Creativity
Project complexity
Presentation innovation and tech use
Also, the number of votes will be taken into consideration.
ELIGIBLITY
Participants have to be between 11-15 years
and studying in 6th-9th grade.
The project must be in the English language
and can either be
A recorded or animated video uploaded
on YouTube (link to be shared during
submission)
A presentation of up to 10mb (500 words
minimum) in .pptx or .ppt format
The project must be impactful and original, any
plagiarism will result in negative scoring
The project must include visually interactive
images and words, that will render the project
substantial
Sufficient context and detail must be included
for the judge’s panel to make a fair assessment
of the project submission
All projects must be submitted online, any
entry submitted via email or other mediums
will not be considered
