The feedback that a teacher gives in such activities is
seen as vitally imprortant. It cannot be stressed enough
that we have a responsibility to react to content and not
just to the language that we hear from our students.
Communicative activities mean getting students to actually
do things with language, and it is the ‘doing’ that should
form the main focus of such sessions
