What is it all about…..
• Tinocuan is a barangay in the municipality of Dingle, in
the province of Iloilo. Its population as determined by the
2015 Census was 1,701. This represented 3.75% of the total
population of Dingle.
• Bongloy
– is a barangay in the
municipality of Dingle, in
the province of Iloilo. Its
population as determined
by the 2015 Census was
1,050. This represented
2.32% of the total
population of Dingle,
• Libo-o
– is a barangay in the
municipality of Dingle,
in the province
of Iloilo. Its population
as determined by the
2015 Census was
1,591. This
represented 3.51% of
the total population of
Dingle.
The Heritage of Tabugon
• The Ruins of Roces Mansion
ROCES MANSION
• Located at sitio Acacia Brgy Tabugon Dingle Iloilo..
Built in 1918 .,owned by Nicolas Roces a Spaniard
and Francisca Roces a native.. They have a 6
children named Alejandro, Corrasito, Isabel,
Roberto , Nicolas Jr, and Maria Luz . They were a
good neighbor to the people.. They acquired their
vast land through exchanging liquors to the people.
The Roces land is about 200 hectares . In the year
1945 the Philippine Army burned the mansion
because they were scared that the Japanese
soldiers will occupy the mansion..
Panay Railway Station

• Panay Railways Inc. is a government-owned and controlled
corporation of the Philippines headquartered in La Paz, Iloilo City on
the island of Panay. It is a subsidiary of Phividec Railways Inc. of
the Philippine Veterans Investment Development
Corporation(Philvedec).[1] The railway currently doesn't operate any
trains but it leases the property that it owns and the revenue is used
to defray the personnel and administrative costs incurred from
looking after its assets.[2]Remains of the Panay Railway in Dingle can still
be seen.as ,its station in Barangay Tabugon is visible.
• The company has been owned in succession by the Rehabilitation
Finance Corporation which became the Development Bank of the
Philippines (1945–74), and then it was sold to the Philippine Veterans
Investment Development Corporation (Philvedec) (1974–79)[2][3]In
1979, management and operations were transferred to the Philippine
Sugar Commission (Philsucom) which changed the company's name
to the current Panay Railways, Inc.[2][4] On September 26, 1995,
PHIVIDEC re-took ownership of Panay Railways from the Sugar
Regulatory Administration, Philsucom's successor.[2] As of March 2016,
the president and general manager of the railroad was John
Catalan.[5]

• The ancestral house of Pangcog family
was built in April 18,. 1939 Owned by
Juana Pangcog.. Her family left the
property when they migrated to USA.. It
was abandoned year 2012.. This house is
one of the oldest houses in Tabugon..

Pananom is typical
among the rural areas,
Tabugon, Bongloy, Liboo
and Tinocuan are among
the barangays in Dingle
who practice this kind of
activity in planting rice.
