A. Brainstorming
It is a process of generating creative
ideas and solutions through intensive
and freewheeling group discussions.
Brainstorming combines a relaxe,
informal approach to problem
solving with lateral thinking.
It encourages people to come up
with thoughts and ideas that can, at
first, seem bit crazy.

BRAINSTORMING

class discussion.
Snowballing – is a
brainstorming technique in
which involves the sharing
of ideas, thoughts to
expanding or groups.
Stepladder brainstorming
– can be used in introduce
a topic.. This method can
help when studying for
tests or can be used to
assess learning.
Group brainstorming – is
often effective in a group
but mind mapping ir free
writing might not be the
most efficient way to
generate and log ideas.
4 RULES OF BRAINSTORMING
1. No judgements – this is the first rule if
creativity in general, really. Don’t discard
anything when you’re brainstorming.
2. Think Freely- while brainstorming ideas
are neither silly nor impossible. Allow
yourself to imagine as much as you want.
3. Big numbers- the more ideas, the better, it
obviously depends on the situation but try
to produce at least 20 solutions and then
you’ll see now how much it helps.
4. Many head are better – when you’re
doing it in a group accept other people’s
ideas. You all work on each other’s
contributions and then these will grow.
