24.1 Ways to express cause and effect
Being able to explain cause and effect, i.e. why something
happened/is happening and what happened/is happening,
is an important skill. We can indicate the relationship
between cause and effect by using:

24.2 Have + noun/pronoun + past participle
We can use the structure have + noun/pronoun + past
participle to indicate the action of causing something to be
done by someone else.

someone to do the job for us)
