MID YEAR REVIEW

 The mid year review which occurs six months into the performance
cycle,is a meeting between the staff member and his/her manager.
It is an opportunity to assess and discuss the progress of the goals
that were set at the beginning of the performance cycle.
The manager will provide ongoing feedback to the staff member as
well as address any performance issues that may have arise or to
discuss major shifts in work priorities.
It is also an opportunity to note where support and additional
resources might be necessary.
Mid Year ( for the period 1st April to 30th September of the current
year ) review will be conducted between 1st Oct -31st Oct of the
current year.
Rating would not be provided for the performance in the 1st half
year.

For Initiation of Mid Year

• Probationers
• If the associate joins between 1st and 15th (both inclusive) of a particular
month, the link will be given to the associate in the same month as per
his/her DoJ
• If the associate joins between 16th and 31st (both inclusive) of a particular
month, the link will be given to the associate on the 1st of the next month
• Trainees
• The associate will get Mid-Anniversary link after ILP ratings is uploaded
i.e. ILP rating is mandatory for Trainee to initiate Anniversary Appraisal
• The start date for Mid-Anniversary should not be less than ILP end date
plus one day

• Mid Anniversary start date is DoJ
• Trainees
• Start date is ILP end date + 1 day

• Other checks on Start date of Mid-Anniversary for Trainees &

• For second Mid-Anniversary appraisal start date is First Mid-
Anniversary appraisal end date + 1 day
• Should not fall in the previous appraisal period
• Should not be within two months of due DoA

End date of Mid-Anniversary Appraisal

• The minimum period for Mid-Anniversary appraisal should be


at least two months and the maximum should be 6 months

• Should not be within two months of due DoA

• To initiate second Mid-Anniversary appraisal, appraisee


should have completed goal buy - in first Mid-Anniversary
appraisal. Similarly to initiate subsequent Mid-Anniversary
appraisal, appraisee should have completed goal Buy-In in
previous Mid-Anniversary appraisal

• Appraise can see the previous appraisals
• Appraise can select the Start Date and end date of the appraisal period in
case of Mid Anniversary whereas in case of Final Anniversary appraisal the
End Date is not editable
• Appraise can initiate appraisal with change allocation details by Escalate to
HR option
