What is OWS?

OWS Features
In addition to features included with the standard BACnet
Client driver, the OWS option offers:
• Event Information
– For BACnet devices that support GetEventInformation
service, outstanding device events that were not logged in
Niagara may be requested. The event is then propagated to
the Niagara alarm service. For devices that support
GetAlarmSummary, the driver will display unacknowledged
alarms, but not import alarms into the Niagara alarm service.
• Enrollment Summary
– Retrieves a summary of BACnet objects within a device that
match a set of user definable criteria.
• Configurable Threads for Polling
– Device polling threads may be increased to more than 2
threads if increased performance is needed.
• Configurable Threads for Proxy Point Writes
– Multiple threads may now be configured for proxy points.
Useful for networks that have a large number of proxy points
configured to write on start.
