AREA:
The area of our project is about virtual/augmented reality.

AREA:
“Virtual Campus Tour”

CLASSIFICATION:
Our proposed project is classified as E-Learning System/Interactive
System under the Multimedia System. It is a system capable of
processing multimedia data and applications. It is characterized by the
processing, storage, generation, manipulation and rendition of Multimedia
information.
DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE:
Virtual reality is an artificial environment that is created with software and
presented to the user in such a way that the user suspends belief and accepts it
as a real environment. On a computer, virtual reality is primarily experienced
through two of the five senses: sight and sound.

The main purpose of this project is to help the first year students familiarize
the campus through virtual environment. With these project first year students and
also the visitor can visit and appreciate the campus without going far from their
home.

User Interface Processing/Process and Control Function

Users will usually start up the application or have someone get the game or
application going on a PC or console. The VR headset is then plugged in and the user can
switch their view over to the headset to immerse themselves in the experience.
