ABSTRACT

• In today’s world enemy warfare is important in any Nation’s security. The

National security mainly depends upon Army(ground),Navy(sea),and
Airforce(air).
• The important and vital role is played by soldiers of the army. There are many
concerns regarding the safety of the soldiers. They lose their lives due to lack
of medical help during emergency and also soldiers who involve in special
operations get straggled on warfields and lose their contact with the
authorities.
• As soon as any soldier enters the enemy line,it is very vital for the Army Base
Station to know the location as well as the health condition of all the soldiers.
• In this project we’ve come up with the idea of tracking the soldier as well as
the health condition of all soldiers that enables the army personne to plan
the way strategies.By using the location sent by GPS modem the base station
can understand the postion of the given soldier.
INTRODUCTION
• As we know, enemy warfare has an important impact regarding to security
issue of any state/nation. In entire world numerous analysis platforms are
being arranged like United States’ Future Force Warrior (FFW),and also
United Kingdom’s Future Infantry Soldier Technology (FIST) and they’ve plan
of making totally modern fight methodology.
• Helmet attached screens, accomplished of presenting maps and videos
from alternative group associates, varities of physiological sensors to
observance of health parameters etc. are some of modern technologies
used in military applications. But the miniaturisation is one of the main
concern in getting desired results.
• So in this project we’re introducing “Real Time Tracking and Health
Monitoring System of Soldier”
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT
• In this project our main focus is to improve the communication of soldier with
control room people and control plane operations.

The above problem can be solved by implying following steps

.By using GPS it is possible to find exact location in critical and track them
. We’re going to help the soldier in panic condition,as control room people
will be able to communicate by the means of GSM
. Another main problem solving technique is to monitor the healt conditions
of soldiers in adverse climate conditions and in emergency situations
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
REQUIREMENTS
• Microcontroller
• GPS Modem
• GSM Modem
• LCD display
• Heartbeat sensor
• Temperature sensor
• 12V battery
• Buzzer
• Resistors, Capacitors, Diodes
• Zig-Bee, Compiler, MC programming language C
METHODOLOGY
. A robust accurate positioning system with seamless indoor and outdoor
coverage is highly a preferred tool in emergency response and military
operations. The position and orientation of rescuer and trapped is
acquired by using GPS chip.
. Using the GPS data of both the units, the relative distance, height, and
orientation between them are calculated using geometric relationships
based on a series of formulae in Geographic Information Science (GIS).
. Using this technology we’re doing navigation between two soldiers
where the data will be sent through wireless RF transceiver.
. The base station gets the location of soldier from GPS where it can
access the current situation of the soldier which is displayed on the phone
with the help of GSM and hence appropriate actions can be taken.
APPLICATIONS OF THE PROJECT
• Army/Paramilitary Personnel/Police Force
• Air-Force
• Navy

• Cost of the project: 12000-14000 INR

EXPECTED RESULTS
• What can we expect as the output?

• A message is sent to the registered number confirming about GPS and GSM
configuration with the help of existing working model.Later as the normal
body parameters deviates, an alert message is sent to the base station
among with precise location of the soldier.A soldier will also be able to make
any distress call at the time of emergency.
