WHAT IS RECREATION?

response, at any time, place or circumstances with attendant enriching physical,
intellectual or emotional benefits.

WHY NEED RECREATION CENTRE?


The role of recreation center is especially crucial for communities that lack
the necessary facilities to keep their children in safe environments. After
school programs provide a refuge for at-risk youth, helping to reduce crime
rates and other costs to the community.
TYPES OF RECREATIONAL SPACES
Three main types of recreational Open space:
1. Formal youth & adult playing space
2. Children's playing space
3. Informal recreational open space
