JOB PROVED RESILIENCE.
After losing everything, Job still refused to
lose faith in God.
Job1:22 In all this Job did not sin or charge
God with wrong.
Job 2:9 Then his wife said to him, “Do you
still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and
die.”
PAUL SHOWED RESILIENCE.
Acts 14:19-20 19 Some Jewish leaders from
Antioch and Iconium came and turned the
crowds against Paul. They hit him with
stones and dragged him out of the city,
thinking he was dead. 20 But when the Lord’s
followers gathered around Paul, he stood up
and went back into the city. The next day he
and Barnabas went to Derbe.
People wanted to do well in life
but don't want to have a hard
time.
Resiliency requires exertion
and effort.
You have to take action and risk
some physical discomfort and
emotional pain.
You may not get the result you
wanted but still, feel great about
yourself because you did your very
best and took some action.
Do really you do your very
best?
We often do our best at the
moment.

loved ones and friends can provide
you with needed support in good
times and bad.
Hebrews 10:25
Not neglecting to meet together, as
is the habit of some, but encouraging
one another, and all the more as you
see the Day drawing near.
GET PREPARED

The concept of preparedness is

found in the Bible, with many
passages dedicated to preparedness.
1 Corinto 16:13
Maging handa kayo at magpakatatag
sa inyong pananampalataya. Maging
matapang kayo at magpakatibay,

Be prepared and stand strong in the Faith

But the problem in today’s society,
people are waiting until the last
moment to prepare for what’s
coming.
Mga Kawikaan 27:12
Ang taong matalino ay nakakakita
ng panganib, at nagkukubli siya,
ngunit nagpapatuloy ang walang
muwang at siya'y nagdurusa.
Mga Kawikaan 21:20
Ang bahay ng matalino'y napupuno
ng kayamanan, ngunit lahat ay
winawaldas ng taong mangmang
GET STRENGTH
You can't change the past, but you
can look toward the future. Believe
that God is acting in your life.
Psalm 73:26
My flesh and my heart may fail, but
God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
Puso ko't kaluluwa kung
nanghihina man, ang Diyos ang
lakas kong tanging kailangan.
Our trials serve as a training
program to help us grow and
see our strengths and
weaknesses.
Resiliency is not a personality
trait, it is a skill that can be
learned, making it possible to
endure hardships, to thrive after
and learn from it.
Resilience is not just to attain
riches and power. It is to remain
faithful and continue to follow
God’s plan.
PROVERBS 24:16
For the righteous falls seven times
and rises again, but the wicked
stumble in times of calamity.
Sapagka't ang matuwid ay nabubuwal na
makapito, at bumabangon uli: Nguni't ang
masama ay nabubuwal sa kasakunaan.
Even the righteous can
fall, they are not exempt
from falling.
But the wicked can easily be
taken down when they
encounter trials.
No matter how many times God’s
people fell, they don’t stay down
long; they will pull themselves up
onto his feet.
When experiencing conflict,
Christian should ask
themselves, how long would you like
that suffering to continue for
yourself ?
You have to start to trust God for
you to get going.

Trust = bear fruit.

Trusting God rather than
relying on our strength is the
best way to stay resilient.
