Current state of insurance
sector India
Insurance Industry in India is of worth US$ 41 billion
in 2010.
FDI limit in the insurance sector increased from 26%
to 49.1% in 2010.
During the period of 2008-09 to 2010-11 the non life
insurance premium is likely to have a growth of 22%.
Nearly 70% of the Indian population is without life
insurance.

Current state of real estate and

construction in India
Real estate construction is estimated US$ 60 billion in 2010.
Real estate share in total FDI is 39%.
There was a rapid growth in the industry in past few years.
70% of foreign investor in India are making profit and
another 12% are breaking even.
The private equity fund IIML plan to invest US$ 300million
in real estate and urban infrastructure projects by the end
of 2010.
Ansal properties and infrastructure ltd. Plans to invest US$
330.8 million in Haryana.
