

dances are folk dances:for example, ritual dances
ordances of ritual origin are notconsidered to be
folk dances.Ritual dances are usually called
 “Religious dances” because of their purpose.
CHARACTERISTICS
Kunday-Kunday -is an artistic and graceful folk dance that
originated from the Philippines
Kunday literally means to move the hands gracefully
somewhat like a kumintang
COSTUME for boys and girls
 The female dancer wears balintawak style while
the male dancer wears barong tagalog and red trousers.
