Free education is education funded through taxation or charitable organizations rather than tuition funding.
Many models of free higher education have been proposed. Primary school and other comprehensive or compulsory
education is free in many countries. Every child between the ages of 6 to 14 years has the right to free and compulsory
education.
The government schools shall provides free education to all the children and the schools will be managed by
school management committees. On the one hand, A free of charge education is beneficial for the poor. Firstly, it can
encourage a huge amount of people to go back to school. Yet the state provides no education for them. Therefore , free
tuition can set the equality of opportunities for them to develop their abilities and also the financial problems are no
more burden.
On the other hand , education without fee may affect directly teachers salary and government budget. Free
education is for those who are mostly from poor families child’s they don’t have enough facilities for pursuing education .

1. Muskaan’s case study
Muskaan conducted a case study on status of education in slums of
Bhopal. The study was conducted to understand the status of formal
education among urban poor and the form in which it has been integrated
within the lives. The study fills in the gap of bringing qualitative and
quantitative information on the education scenarios of the urban poor,

Founded in 1995 to provide preschool education to children in the
slums of Mumbai, Pratham soon began to focus on other educational
needs. Sahyadri Nagar is a small locality situated in the Chembur suburb of
Mumbai. This, and areas like Vishnu Nagar, Rahul Nagar, Nagbaba Nagar, have

CONCLUSION
Education should not be free for all. Ideally, education should not be free for those who can pay for it and should be free for
those who can’t. For those who can’t, the government should make effective use of the taxes to properly implement education policies
and make it free for those needed with help from NGOs who are funded by philanthropists and companies.
A free-of-charge education is beneficial for the poor. Firstly, it can encourage a huge amount of people to go back to school.
As you know, all parents want to make their children educated by sending them to school but sometimes due to the lack of resources,
they have to deprive their children even from the basic education; Therefore, free tuition can set the equality of opportunities for them
