• After iso file being extracted there will be 2 folder or more called boot and slax • Change boot background Open boot folder then replace slax.png with image that do you want to show(the name and resolution must be same) • Change slax available mode descriptions Open boot folder then open slax.cfg with text editor then u can change the description of slax mode available • Change default wallpaper Open slax folder then open base folder and you can see 002-xorg.lzm module, after that you can extract the module using extracter module by MySlaxCreator, after module being extracted u can go to ~/slax/base/usr/share/wallpapers folder and you can replace that stuff by ur own. After replacing the default wallpaper don't forget to compress the module again and the delete the folder that u create after module being exrtracted. Repacking slax folder to iso file • Right click on slax folder and then point your cursor to ultraISO and choose add to ISO file. • Select the destination folder that u want to save ur ISO file. Mounting ISO file for MySlaxCreator • Right click on ur ISO file and the just click mounting option (by default win 10 has already have mount app by it self ) MySlaxCreator • MySlaxCreator is software that can build ur modified slax bootable and u can also add modules to that just open the software and the wizard will be showing up MySlaxCreator • Just next and choose the source of slax file, it can be from CD-Rom, ISO default or ISO Daemon(cause we already mount the ISO, we choose CD-Rom source). MySlaxCreator • Add new Modules. Just go directly to ur modules folder and choose whatever u want to add. MySlaxCreator • Remove Modules. Same as add modules, just pointing out the modules that u dont want to (Because we dont have any just skip this step). MySlaxCreator • Modify boot options. I dont have any ideas what it is but as far as i see this step can change the default wallpaper, passwording and etc but since we already change everything on the very begining step we will skip this step thoug. MySlaxCreator • Create your own SLAX ISO image. This step u just click the button create ISO but before that u also can choose the destination folder that ISO file saved. MySlaxCreator Testing The Slax • Open Virtual Machine and create new machine Testing The Slax • Give ur machine name and choose the distination folder for the machine, select type OS which is Linux and version 64bit. Testing The Slax • Create virtual memory, hdd and etc Testing The Slax • After the virtual machine created just click start button Testing The Slax • Select start-up disk and select the ISO file that we've created using MySlaxCreator before Testing The Slax • Were boot to boot options by slax yeay, and here u can choose any mode from slax, recommended use slax mode graphic (KDE mode) Testing The Slax • Finally we successfully installing modified slax and boot up to slax homescreen.
