S P ENT ON GOING TO
SCHOOL BY THE
GRADE 11 CSS
STUDENTS
REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE:
Several studies have shown that tardiness in school has a detrimental impact on the
results of education. Students receive fewer hours of instruction than students who are in class
when the bell sounds due to the sheer necessity of arriving late or missing school hours. But not
only does a student who arrives late at school regularly develop bad habit of punctuality, their
lateness often disrupts other students ' learning in their classes (Vucovic, 2017).
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION:
This study focuses on the average time spent on going to school by the students. It
seeks to answer the following questions:
1. What time do you usually wake up?
2. What is/are the daily routine that takes you too long to do every morning?
3. What is/are the mode of transportation that you use in going to school?
4. How many hours does it usually take you in going to school?
STATISTICAL TREATMENT:
• Mean: μ = ( Σ Xi ) / N

HYPOTHESIS:
